Ramble Worldwide Unveils Five New UK Walking Holidays and Four European Weekend Adventures

To celebrate English Tourism Week (13 to 22 March) Ramble Worldwide is unveiling a collection of brand-new UK guided walking holidays. From the sweeping shores of the North Yorkshire coastline and stunning landscapes of Snowdonia, the Lake District and Peak District to the tranquil valleys of Cumbria and tidal beauty of Jersey, these new tours shine a spotlight on some of the extraordinary landscapes found right on our doorstep.

Alongside new UK additions, Ramble is also expanding its popular Weekend Adventures portfolio, the range of UK and European short breaks introduced last year for experienced walkers who are short of time but still seek challenging, mountainous experiences. A further four high-impact escapes in spectacular mountain settings across Mont Blanc and the Alps have been released. A choice of 17 Weekend Adventures are now available.

 

Five New UK Walking Holidays

The Allerdale Ramble (Grade 4) - 7 nights from £1,179

Set against the scenic backdrop of Cumbria's western fells, The Allerdale Ramble is a relaxed yet rewarding journey ambling through peaceful valleys, wooded lanes and rolling hills. Designed for walkers who enjoy steady-paced exploration, this guided trail uncovers lesser-known landscapes on the edge of the Lake District, where quiet trails reveal traditional villages and expansive open farmland. The tour is a wonderfully immersive way to experience a gentler side of northern England with manageable ascents and time to appreciate the area's rich heritage and natural beauty. Jersey Tidal Trail (Grade 5) -  6 nights from £859

Encircling one of the Channel Islands' most captivating landscapes, the Jersey Tidal Trail is a coastal adventure shaped by the rhythm of the sea. The Dark Peak Weekend Adventure (Grade 6) - 3 nights from £639pp

For adventurous travellers drawn to untamed, open moorland, Ramble Worldwide has launched a new itinerary in the Peak District, focusing on the striking and undiscovered landscapes of the Dark Peak. This walking tour explores far-reaching views shaped by centuries of history and uncover the heart of the area's distinctive moorland, with the chance to soak up sweeping views and discover the stories behind this much-loved national park. The tour offers a quintessentially British outdoor experience, ideal for travellers seeking fresh-air adventure without leaving the country. Departures in July and August. 

Snowdonia National Park Weekend Adventure (Grade 8) - 3 nights from £729pp

Set in the heart of Snowdonia National Park, this new long-weekend adventure is designed for walkers who want impressive mountain scenery packed into a short break. Based in Wales' most spectacular regions, the guided programme explores rugged ridgelines, glacial valleys and crystal-clear lakes, with expert leaders bringing the landscape's geology, wildlife and Welsh heritage to life. Travellers can expect panoramic viewpoints, classic mountain trails and the unmistakable drama of Snowdonia's skyline. Departures in June and September.

Tour du Mont Blanc France: A Weekend Adventure (Grade 7) - 3 nights from £999

Immerse yourself in one of Europe's most iconic long-distance routes on this weekend adventure along the French section of the Tour du Mont Blanc. This guided itinerary provides the classic high-mountain experience into a gently guided escape, leading walkers through dramatic alpine passes, fragrant pine forests and open meadows beneath the mighty Mont Blanc massif. Tour du Mont Blanc Italy: A Weekend Adventure (Grade 7) - 3 nights from £1,499

At the heart of some of the most spectacular scenery in the Italian Alps the trail rises gently through meadows before reaching the jagged skyline of the Grandes Jorasses. Where the natural balcony of Bonatti's terrace is perfectly positioned to showcase the Mont Blanc massif in all its grandeur. With a daily distance of around 10 miles the terrain is varied with rough, rocky and steep sections which walkers will be guided through by a Ramble Classic Tour Leader, along with one of Chamonix's highly experienced and renowned Mountain Guides, whose intimate knowledge of the region and its mountains adds depth, insight and confidence to every walk. Hiking Beneath the Eiger: A Swiss Alps Adventure Weekend (Grade 8) - 3 nights from £1,299
Experience the Swiss Alps from the foot of one of its most striking summits on this adventurous weekend beneath the Eiger. Combining varied terrain with paths winding through dramatic valleys and high meadows, this guided tour rewards challenging ascent with extraordinary alpine scenery.
