The Porter House Hotel Sydney MGallery Collection invites guests to savour one of Sydney's most celebrated dining experiences with A Culinary Chapter at Lee Ho Fook, a thoughtfully curated package that pairs an overnight stay in boutique luxury with a tasting menu for two at the two-hat restaurant in Sydney. Available for stays until 30 June 2026, this experience brings together the heritage warmth of The Porter House Hotel Sydney with the refined artistry of Lee Ho Fook's modern Chinese kitchen, placing exceptional food, impeccable craft, and the energy of the city at the heart of a single, seamless stay.
Lee Ho Fook has long been regarded as one of Australia's foremost Chinese dining destinations. Chef Victor Liong's meticulous technique and commitment to flavour have earned the restaurant two coveted chef's hats, drawing food lovers from across the country and beyond. The tasting menu is a journey through contemporary Chinese cuisine, balancing delicate, layered flavours with produce-driven precision.
Obay Bahri, General Manager of the Porter House Hotel said, “Sydney has one of the most exciting dining scenes in the world, and we are incredibly proud to have Lee Ho Fook within our hotel. This package brings together exceptional food and a beautiful heritage setting to create a story for lovers of truly memorable experiences.”
The Porter House occupies a lovingly restored heritage building on Castlereagh St in the Sydney CBD, offering 122 boutique rooms and suites where considered design, thoughtful service and a genuine sense of place come together. As part of the MGallery Collection, Accor's portfolio of story-rich boutique hotels, The Porter House is a destination in its own right.
Together, these two Sydney icons offer a city escape that is as nourishing as it is memorable. The package includes a tasting menu for two at Lee Ho Fook Sydney and a night's accommodation from $473 per room per night.
Commissioned in 1876 by philanthropist and horticulturist, Hugh Dixson, the hotel started its life as a grand tobacco factory and was later a furniture and leather merchants. It features five floors dedicated to dining, drinking and events, all located within the historic wing of the building, where leather, pressed tin, brass fixtures, and glass displays of archaeological treasures all speak to the building's rich history.
