Australia's fastest growing travel company, Luxury Escapes is launching its first-ever large-scale travel festival, Luxury Escapes Live. The event is more than just a travel expo, with wall-to-wall offers, discounts, and hundreds of giveaways.

Set to take over Melbourne's iconic Royal Exhibition Building across 16–17 May 2026, Luxury Escapes Live will bring together upwards of 100 exhibitors and feature exclusive festival-only offers, hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of giveaways and immersive destination experiences.

More than 10,000 visitors are expected to pass through the boarding gates, as the rocketing Australian dollar allows Australians to get more bang for their travel buck. 

Luxury Escapes Live highlights will include:

Luxury Escapes research shows that 98% of Australians plan to travel domestically, and 87% internationally in 2026, with current booking data revealing year-on-year growth. Luxury Escapes has had a record year, with revenue up 50% in recent months as travellers flock to its high-value packages.

Adam Schwab, Co-Founder and CEO of Luxury Escapes, says travel continues to benefit from the so-called “lipstick effect”, with Australians prioritising holidays over other discretionary spending.
