  1. Direct summer flights from Glasgow to Zurich

Edelweiss has just announced that it has added Glasgow to its Summer 2026 schedule, launching twice-weekly flights between Zurich and Glasgow. Services will operate every Monday and Friday from 29 May to 14 September 2026. Designed by the banker Ivan Pictet, the Portail des Nations, the long-anticipated visitor centre for the United Nations in Geneva will finally open its doors to the public this May. Opening this May, the TITLIS Tower on Mount Titlis reimagines a 1980s steel radio tower as a contemporary cross-shaped landmark designed by renowned architects Herzog & de Meuron.   1. FlemXpress x Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona

The FlemXpress provides direct access to the Swiss Tectonic Arena Sardona UNESCO World Heritage Site. This new fully automated lift operates on demand, reducing energy use by up to 50%, as gondolas depart only when called.   1. Alpine ziplining in the Vaud Region

The Alpes Vaudoises destination has just unveiled its new Alpine Zipline at Les Chaux, Gryon, expanding its leisure offering with a 700m round-trip aerial experience. Developed by the Parc Aventure, the installation features two connected lines (400m outbound, 300m return).   1. Wildlife observatory in the Région Dents du Midi

The Association of Friends of the Illiez Valley Trails has just opened its first wildlife observatory on the Tour de la Vallée d'Illiez hiking route.
