For the first time in its history, Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, will take place in Hong Kong, one of the region's most dynamic and internationally celebrated culinary destinations.

In collaboration with host destination partner, Hong Kong Tourism Board, the 2026 edition will unite the region's leading chefs, restaurateurs, and food media for a multi-day programme of events culminating in the highly anticipated awards ceremony on 25 March 2026, when the new ranking of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants will be revealed, including the coveted title of The Best Restaurant in Asia. The 2025 celebrations saw Gaggan in Bangkok crowned No.1.

Voted for by a handpicked Academy of more than 350 restaurant industry experts in Asia, with a 50/50 gender split, the list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants is independently adjudicated by Deloitte. Further details of the voting process can be found at the bottom of this press release.

The Asia's 50 Best Restaurants event programme will feature the key events that form the cornerstone of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants celebrations, including: #50BestTalks, a thought-provoking forum exploring key topics in gastronomy and hospitality; 50 Best Signature Sessions, exclusive collaborative dining experiences, which sees 50 Best chefs cooking with renowned local talent; a Chefs' Feast, celebrating of Hong Kong's culinary excellence and local ingredients, and a 'Meet the Chefs' media roundtable, offering unique insights from the region's leading voices in gastronomy. The celebrations will culminate in the awards ceremony, honouring the very best restaurants and chefs in Asia.

Ahead of the live awards ceremony, 50 Best will unveil several special accolades recognising excellence and innovation across the region as well as the extended 51–100 list of restaurants, highlighting the diversity and depth of Asia's restaurant scene.

The organisation will continue to spotlight exceptional culinary talent worldwide through its rankings, special awards and the 50 Best Discovery platform, reinforcing its mission to celebrate creativity, diversity and excellence across the hospitality sector.

The countdown of the list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, will also be broadcast live to a global audience. Food lovers across the region and the globe are invited to join through the 50 Best YouTube channel.
