The 8th Paris edition of the leading tourism networking event will take place on 11 March and will bring together more than 120 French and international tourism brands, as well as around 200 journalists and content creators.
Paris, 17 December 2025 – TravMedia is pleased to announce Latvia Travel as headline sponsorship of the 2026 edition of the International Media Marketplace (IMM) France, taking place on 11 March 2026 at InterContinental Paris Le Grand.
Now in it's eighth year, the industry leading media event, IMM France 2026 will gather more than 140 French and international public relations professionals and around 242 journalists, photographers, bloggers and content creators specialised in travel, lifestyle and culture. The event will provide a privileged environment to develop editorial projects and brand content opportunities.
“We are pleased to highlight Latvia at IMM France 2026. Northern Europe and the Baltic region are still relatively untouched by mass tourism, is ideal for travellers seeking authenticity. Its rich heritage, its varied landscapes and its cultural and natural experiences match perfectly with the expectations of the French public. It is a pleasure for us to strengthen the visibility of this beautiful destination among the French media,” says Karine Foraud, Managing Director France, Monaco and Benelux at TravMedia.
“Reaching Riga is remarkably easy. Latvia's capital is served by Riga International Airport – the largest aviation hub in the Baltic region – offering strong connectivity across Northern Europe, the Baltics, and key European hubs, with convenient onward links worldwide. With 70+ direct destinations in the winter season and over 100 in the summer season, travellers can get to Latvia quickly and efficiently from many different countries and regions – making Riga not only a natural gateway, but also an accessible destination in its own right,” says Linda Ziediņa - Ērgle, Head of Tourism Export Service Division, which develops the Latvia Travel tourism brand.
Latvia, a fast-growing destination in the spotlight
Latvia, a Baltic country still preserved from mass tourism, stands out as a destination of choice for travellers looking for authenticity, unspoilt nature, remarkable historical heritage and distinctive cultural experiences.
With forests covering more than half of the country and almost 500 kilometres of coastline on the Baltic Sea, Latvia offers a wide range of diverse and accessible landscapes. The capital city, Riga, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its outstanding Art Nouveau architecture, vibrant cultural life and animated historic centre.
Other highlights include Gauja National Park, the largest and oldest national park in the Baltic States, Rundāle Palace, a Baroque masterpiece often described as the “Baltic Versailles,” the medieval towns of Cēsis and Sigulda, and the well-preserved beaches of Jūrmala—and with Liepāja set to be the European Capital of Culture in 2027, it's the perfect moment to use Riga as an easy gateway and explore different regions of Latvia, from vibrant coastal cities to historic towns and pristine nature.
