The Luxe Nomad

December 2025 – Bali, Indonesia: From jungle-clad spiritual centres and heritage beach towns, to dramatic clifftop enclaves, Bali continues to evolve as a destination of layered luxury experiences. Showcasing the island's rich local culture, The Luxe Nomad announces the expansion of its portfolio across three distinctive regions — Ubud, Sanur, and Uluwatu — marking a strategic move towards a destination-diverse villa curation.

As travellers increasingly seek immersive, personalised, and enriching villa experiences, the new additions reflect The Luxe Nomad's commitment to creating elevated luxury stays tailored to support the varied ways modern travellers relax, reconnect and experience a destination.

Ubud: Bali's Creative, Spiritual and Wellness Capital

Ubud remains the island's cultural and spiritual heart, firmly established as Bali's leading wellness and creative centre. Beyond its temples and rice terraces, the region draws a global creative community through platforms such as Ubud Open Studios and the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival.

The dining landscape has also evolved into one of Southeast Asia's most respected, anchored by destination restaurants such as Room4Dessert, the fine-dining dessert experience led by 2021 World's Best Pastry Chef Will Goldfarb, and featured on Netflix's Chef's Table, and Locavore NXT, awarded one of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants and Indonesia's Best Restaurant by 50 Best in 2019.

This December, Villa Crystal Castle joins The Luxe Nomad's Ubud portfolio, just in time for a calm Christmas or New Year reset. True to its name, the villa features ten thousand kilograms of rare crystals interwoven throughout the property, a signature rose-quartz reflexology path, and accents of warm wood and modern Balinese decor. Expansive open-air living spaces look out towards layers of vibrant jungle and rice fields, making this space the epitome of quiet luxury in Ubud. Ideal for wellness retreats, guests can find their rhythm in the light-filled yoga shala, 18-metre pool, or dedicated spa room.

Sanur: Residential Coastal Living in Bali's Emerging Tourist Destination

While Bali's global image has long been shaped by its buzzing west coast, Sanur presents a quieter, more laid-back side of the island. Known as one of Bali's oldest tourism districts, the area is defined by calm swimming beaches, sunrise promenades and a slower rhythm that continues to attract families and multi-generational travellers. In 2025, the district also hosted the design festival JIA Curated, reflecting growing creative and industry interest in the area.

As Sanur continues to rise, The Luxe Nomad introduces its first property in the area, Manu Villas, launching in January 2026. A brand-new twin-villa housing up to 18 guests, Manu Villas is designed for families and multi-generational trips, with bunk bed rooms, child- and senior-friendly staircases, and a thoughtfully configured bathroom allowing parents to supervise bath time with ease.

Uluwatu: Bali's Iconic Clifftops, Surf Breaks, and Sunset Views

Perched along Bali's dramatic southern cliffs, Uluwatu is home to the island's most iconic surf breaks, postcard-ready sunsets and ocean views, and must-visits like the Uluwatu temple and Melasti Beach. The area is continuously developing with new dining spots, boutiques, and ultra-luxury enclaves, making it the premier address for high-net-worth travellers seeking architectural statement retreats and clifftop privacy in the heart of the action.

In 2026, The Luxe Nomad will introduce ARRA Uluwatu, an expansive, newly-built villa characterised by Streamline Moderne architecture, perfect for special events and those who want a wedding set against dramatic ocean views. The estate is positioned to capture the appeal of private entertaining, extended luxury stays and milestone celebrations, offering guests front-row views to Bali's stunning scenery while maintaining the privacy and exclusivity of a villa stay.

“Travellers want authenticity and choice — the ability to select not just a villa, but a lifestyle that resonates with how they want to spend their time,” says Brenden Peace, General Manager of Bali at The Luxe Nomad.

“Villa Crystal Castle offers Ubud's wellness and creative energy, Manu Villas delivers Sanur's multi-generational ease, and ARRA Uluwatu provides that iconic clifftop statement. Each property is intentionally curated to serve different travel moments. Bali has always been more than one destination—it's a collection of distinct experiences.”
