BeyondBeach, was founded by Susy & James Hobart back in May 2000 then known as Sea-Trek Adventures. BeyondBeach is a family-run operator offering sailing holidays, beach clubs and Alpine adventures. They have made it their passion to organise active summer and winter holidays across Greece, Portugal and the French Alps. With a highly dedicated service and smaller clubs, BeyondBeach creates personal experiences in locations away from the mainstream in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. From December 2025 Vestmar PR is delighted to be handling the UK PR work for BeyondBeach.

What sets BeyondBeach apart: Under 100 guests per club ensures exceptional staff-to-guest ratios and a personalised guest service. Authentic partnerships with family-run hotels in idyllic locations. The company creates and operates its own holidays rather than acting as an agent, with the BeyondBeach team's expertise ensuring quality throughout. Plans include adding another Greek club in 2026 and expanding fitness and special-interest weeks.

Summer in Greece

Lixouri Bay Beach Club, Kefalonia – BeyondBeach's flagship location for the past 8 years and has exclusive use of a family-run hotel with private beach access. The large, yet shallow, light-wind beach is perfect for beginners. All water sports are included with daily group tuition: sailing, watersports, yoga, fitness, road biking and volleyball. Club board includes all breakfasts and four evening meals. Mid-May to late September, Thursday arrivals via Kefalonia airport. Lead in prices per person per week, club board included, starts from £460. Flights are not included.

Stira Bay Beach Club, Evia – Opened in 2024, this club features stronger winds suited to intermediates, with secret coves and snorkelling spots nearby. Same comprehensive activities and daily tuition as Lixouri Bay Beach Club. Club board includes all breakfasts and three evening meals. Mid-May to late September, Sunday arrivals via Athens airport. Lead in prices per person per week, including meals as outlined, starts from £480. Flights are not included.

Both clubs feature extensive equipment: dinghies, catamarans, SUPs, kayaks, windsurfers, foiling kit, and bikes, all available for unlimited use.

Sailing Holidays from Kefalonia

Flotilla Holidays – Intimate groups of up to six boats sailing the Central Ionian route towards Lefkas via Ithaca and Kalamos, with friendly lead crew providing support and local expertise. June to September.

Introduction to Sailing – Dedicated skipper/instructor with opportunities to earn ICC qualifications which will allow guests to go on to skipper and charter boats.

Yacht Charter – Seven or 14-night options for qualified sailors.

Winter in Portugal

Feel Viana Beach Club, Cabedelo, Portugal – Operating October to April, 45 minutes from Porto airport. The active pack includes guided biking, surf lessons, SUP tours and yoga or Pilates sessions, with optional spa access and Kids Club. Flexible any-day arrivals with Club board including all breakfasts and four evening meals.

Alpine Holidays

Alpine Club, Vaujany, French Alps – Summer alpine adventures (mid-July to late August) include white-water rafting, treetop adventures, kids' club, and endless trails for biking, hiking and running. Club board includes lift passes, breakfast, afternoon tea and three evening meals.

Skiing in the French Alps – When the snow starts to fall in the Alps, the ski operations gear up from December to Easter time. BeyondBeach have a partnership with hotels in both Val Thorens and Meribel on B&B or half-board basis. In Vaujany a 7-room chalet can be booked exclusively with a catered option on top. The aim is to relaunch their own ski chalet complete with a dedicated ski team for the 2026 / 2027 season

About BeyondBeach

Founded as Sea-Trek Adventures in May 2000, Susy and James built their business from three leased yachts on Kefalonia after leaving Sunsail when it lost its intimate "club feel". The company launched its first Beach Club in 2014 and rebranded as BeyondBeach in November 2023 to reflect its expanded offering beyond sailing. Sustainability is embedded in operations: eco-friendly yacht products, minimised single-use plastics, no single plastic bottle use in clubs, close partnership with Wildlife Sense turtle conservation society, and encouraged beach cleans for all guests.
