Escorted tours specialist Newmarket Holidays has revealed its on-trend destinations for 2026, with established favourites leading the way and significant growth from recent long-haul additions.

Based on booking patterns and consumer demand from the past 12 months, Italy and India continue to top the list of most booked destinations, with momentum expected to remain strong into 2026. Bookings for Japan continue to rise after three years of growth, while Australasia and China are set to join the ranks of Newmarket Holidays' best sellers.

The operator reports that customers are seeking out immersive cultural experiences, deeper discovery and high-impact, once-in-a-lifetime journeys.

To support this momentum, Newmarket Holidays is expanding its product portfolio to add new tours to India and Italy, following recent launches for Japan, China and Australasia.

Three new Indian itineraries will include a rail-based Premier Collection adventure, a tiger safari exclusively for solo travellers, and a Himalayas-to-Ganges experience.

Two new European escorted holidays will immerse guests in the heritage of Southern Italy in Puglia and Basilicata, and explore Italian and Swiss Alp highlights including Lake Maggiore, Zermatt and the Centovalli Railway to offer fresh perspectives on perennial favourites.
