In alignment with The Ritz-Carlton's global Community Footprints program, The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka is proud to present a meaningful initiative this festive season: a Christmas Afternoon Tea that supports the preservation and future of Hakata-ori, Fukuoka's renowned traditional textile art. From Saturday, November 15 to Thursday, December 25, 2025, a specially curated Christmas Afternoon Tea will be offered at the hotel's café, Diva. For each set purchased, 500 yen will be donated to Hakata Ori DC, a cultural and educational organization based in Fukuoka dedicated to nurturing the next generation of artisans and preserving the centuries-old hand-weaving techniques of Hakata-ori. Characterized by its intricate patterns woven from fine silk threads, Hakata-ori is a symbol of Fukuoka's rich craftsmanship and cultural heritage. The interior design of The Ritz-Carlton, Fukuoka draws inspiration from Kyushu's textile traditions, with the concept of “weaving” reflected throughout the hotel's spaces—interlacing elements of culture, artistry, and hospitality into a unified experience. Guests are invited to discover the beauty of local heritage through curated art pieces and design details that celebrate the depth and elegance of Hakata-ori.

◇ Mini Christmas Concert at Diva
On December 23 and 24, we are honored to welcome Ms. Yuna Miyako, a celebrated actress from Fukuoka who retired from the Takarazuka Revue's Star Troupe in August 2025. She will grace Café Diva with a heartwarming mini concert, offering guests an unforgettable Christmas experience surrounded by her crystal-clear vocals and refined ambiance.
