In keeping with its commitment to responsible operations and sustainable luxury, The Sarojin - a 56-room boutique residence in Khao Lak - has launched a new weekly fish menu, Fabulous Andaman Fish, to reduce wastage and further strengthen its partnership with local fishing communities.
Following an internal review of its previous daily 'Fish of Day' concept, the resort has transitioned to a thoughtfully created weekly approach in an effort to eliminate waste. Each week, the culinary team, under the guidance of Executive Chef Gogh, will feature one locally and sustainably sourced fish from the Andaman Sea, creating dishes that highlight the freshest season catch. The inaugural selections included Giant Trevally in week one and Long-nose Emperor in week two. Additional menus planned for the forthcoming weeks, depending on seasonality, include Red Snapper, Cobia, Tomato Rock Cod (Red Grouper) and Red Mullet.
Across both of the resort's restaurants - Ficus, offering refined Mediterranean-inspired dining beneath an ancient Ficus tree, and Edge, a relaxed beachfront venue celebrating Thai and Asian flavours - guests can enjoy four unique dishes per restaurant, a total of eight specially prepared creations each week.
This sea-to-table initiative aligns with The Sarojin's strong locavore ethos and follows the resort's recent recognition in The MICHELIN Guide Thailand, where it was awarded the prestigious MICHELIN Two Key distinction, highlighting its exceptional hospitality and elevated guest experience.
In addition to its culinary developments, The Sarojin has recently enhanced its wellbeing offerings with the introduction of Pickleball for the Community. This initiative invites guests to enjoy friendly and inclusive pickleball sessions that blend fun and fitness with social purpose, with all proceeds donated to The Sarojin Community Care Fund in support of local education, conservation and livelihood projects.

Tranquillity is guaranteed as no children under the age of 10 are permitted to stay at The Sarojin.
The Sarojin has been honoured by The MICHELIN Guide Thailand with the prestigious MICHELIN Two Key distinction, a recognition reserved for hotels that deliver “an exceptional stay.” In addition, the resort has also been acknowledged by the MICHELIN restaurant guide for its fine dining excellence, awarded to establishments that consistently demonstrate the highest quality of ingredients, mastery of flavour and technique, value for money, and a distinctive expression of the chef's culinary vision.
The Sarojin Community Care Fund
Established in December 2004 The Sarojin Community Care Fund, which was initially set up to help rebuild the communities surrounding our resort in the wake of the devastating 26 December tsunami, continues to contribute to several worthy local projects in Khao Lak. From providing medical provision for prosthetic limbs and supporting local orphanages with childcare to building school classrooms, roads and covering the cost of a full-time veterinary surgeon to care for the local wildlife, there's such a huge variety of ways The Sarojin's fund gives back to those closest to the resort. Guests are encouraged to donate to the fund during their stay, with 100% of the money raised distributed to local community projects and can join The Sarojin team on regular excursions and volunteer days in the local community, combining their luxurious escape with a sense of giving back and helping the local community during their time in Khao Lak.
