Destination Madison Unveils the 2025 “Very Merry Madison Gift Guide”
Partnership with Local Startup GiftBlazer Makes Shopping for Local Goods Easy

MADISON, WIS. (Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2025) – Eager shoppers can share the spirit of Greater Madison with their gift-giving this holiday season thanks to the Destination Madison's “Very Merry Madison Gift Guide.” Featuring more than 55 local businesses, the guide inspires residents and visitors alike to support local, independent businesses and enjoy festive events all season long.

People can sign up for the Very Merry Madison Shopping Pass, which is a digital web-based app with geolocation, to guide them through Madison shopping experiences with money saving opportunities and prizes, including a Madison holiday tote bag, for checking in to at least five locations.

“Our Very Merry Madison Gift Guide is back by popular demand for the third year to connect shoppers with more than 55 local businesses, offer exclusive savings and share holiday traditions that make Madison shine,” said Ellie Westman Chin, Destination Madison's president and CEO. “Discover curated gifts, unique experiences and festive charm as you shop local and create memories that last beyond the holidays.”

The guide and pass feature businesses; products; experiences ranging from arts and cultural to relaxation by way of sauna or smashing; classes, such as charcuterie board building; hand-crafted food items; and staycation ideas, providing a central location for those looking to shop and celebrate the season with ease. The comprehensive lists allow shoppers to explore the Greater Madison Area when considering their gift-giving decisions and also features lists of local holiday menus, markets, craft fairs and more.

For the first time, Destination Madison partnered with local startup GiftBlazer to make it even easier for people to shop for local goods right from the guide and pass with direct links to purchase at the businesses web page.
