For the seventh time in eight years, Verbier has claimed the title of Switzerland's Best Ski Resort at the World Ski Awards. Already a winner in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, the resort once again confirms its status as an icon of Swiss skiing.
This new achievement, the result of a collective effort, celebrates an entire community with partners, residents, seasonal workers and enthusiasts who make Verbier shine far beyond its borders. Thanks to this shared momentum, the destination secured the highest number of votes among Switzerland's most prestigious resorts.
On the international stage, Verbier also reaffirmed its position among the world's leading ski destinations, reaching the global podium alongside Kitzbühel and Val Thorens, the latter taking the top honour this year.
“This award is, above all, the reflection of a remarkable collective adventure. Every vote for Verbier is an expression of genuine attachment to the destination and what it represents: the energy of those who bring it to life every day – locals, partners, visitors and lovers of the mountains. It is through their passion that Verbier continues to shine, both here and beyond.”
Simon Wiget, Director, Verbier Tourisme
“Receiving this national title once again is a source of immense pride and recognition for how far we've come. It rewards the continued efforts and investments we've made to improve our infrastructure while enhancing the quality of the experience we offer our guests. This trophy symbolises the collective commitment of an entire region looking confidently towards the future.”
