Set within 12 acres of gardens in the tranquil Cotswolds countryside, Whatley Manor Hotel & Spa invites guests to slow down, savour peace, and delight in the Joy of Missing Out.
In response to the rising JOMO trend – travellers seeking meaningful rest over overfilled itineraries – Whatley Manor's new experiential package is available to book from October, featuring an in-room guided yoga session, a collection of Gaia products for personal pampering, and an immersive tour of its immaculately kept gardens. Along with curated spa and dining experiences, Whatley Manor invites guests to disconnect from everyday life and reconnect with the present moment.

On arrival, guests are welcomed with a Gaia-branded in-room gift set including Awakening Bath Salts, Body Lotion and Body Oil, perfect for an evening of quiet self-pampering. With a yoga mat provided in every room, guests booking the JOMO package will also receive access to a guided online yoga flow session, encouraging restorative movement and thoughtful pause. This wellness offering extends to the hotel's award-winning Aquarias Spa, featuring state-of-the-art facilities such as heated stone recliners and salt scrub showers, along with exclusive treatments from wellbeing partners Gaia and Sothys.
Mindful Gardening: Interactive QR Code Tour
Encouraging reconnection with the natural world, Whatley's new garden tour experience features strategically placed QR-coded garden signs around the grounds, which offer detailed insights into planting, design and ecology. Originally an 18th-century farmhouse, Whatley Manor's gardens include an intricate layout of Arts & Crafts terraces, wildflower meadows and a no-dig kitchen garden, which supplies some of produce found in the menus and drinks menus. Highlights of the interactive tour include a 200-year-old olive tree and, four new beehives made from French Oak introduced in September 2025, with the honey bees supporting local pollinators and producing honey used across the property.

Curated by Executive Chef Ricki Weston, dishes range from Cod & Piquillo Pepper Croquettes and the refreshing Blue Fin Tuna Tataki, to British classics like Confit Duck Leg and Pork Belly Bao with Waste XO Mayonnaise, with a key focus on local produce including from Whatley Manor's own kitchen garden.
