M.Y Sea Raes Returns to Sydney Harbour for the Summer Season

Sea Raes

M.Y. Sea Raes is returning to Sydney Harbour for the summer, bringing the distinctive hospitality and refined style of Raes on Wategos back to the city's sparkling waters. Perfectly timed for the festive season, Sea Raes is now accepting bookings for luxury day and evening charters - from intimate gatherings and long lunches to elegant cocktail events and end-of-year celebrations.

Offering a European-inspired escape on Australian shores, Sea Raes provides guests with an intimate and luxurious way to experience the Harbour. The 101ft tri-deck vessel accommodates up to 30 guests for events and day charters, and eight for overnight stays.

“Sea Raes brings everything you'd expect of the Raes Dining Room to Sydney Harbour - allowing our Sydney guests to enjoy the Raes experience a little closer to home,” says Marty McCaig, general manager of Raes. “Designed for celebration, it's a private dining room on the water - perfect for any occasion, from intimate seated lunches to sunset cocktails and canapés for larger gatherings.”

Guests can enjoy tailored menus by Raes executive chef Jason Saxby, showcasing the finest seasonal and local produce. Highlights from the summer menu include oysters with native finger lime dressing; Queensland scallops with XO pangrattato; and zucchini flowers with spanner crab, lemon myrtle salt, and lemon aioli for canapé-style service. For a seated lunch, guests can enjoy dishes such as whole snapper baked in salt, seaweed and lemon myrtle; bistecca Fiorentina with green chilli salsa verde; or tagliolini with spanner crab, shellfish XO, tomato, pangrattato and chilli.

The menu is complemented by Champagne, curated seasonal cocktails, and a sommelier selected  wine list, delivered with  Raes' signature personalised service and attention to detail. Each charter includes food and beverage, a full crew, tailored hospitality, and access to the yacht's premium amenities, including a tender, paddleboards, and snorkelling gear for those seeking an extra touch of adventure on the harbour.

Designed by Tamsin Johnson, Sea Raes' interiors extend the elegant yet relaxed Mediterranean aesthetic of Raes on Wategos. Accommodating up to eight guests overnight, the yacht features a master cabin, VIP cabin, and two twin cabins - each with its own ensuite - complemented by soft coastal tones, marble finishes, and vintage-inspired details that evoke the timeless charm of a classic yacht.

For extended day charters or overnight stays, guests can elevate their experience with exclusive onboard additions such as private Fluidform Pilates sessions with Kirsten King or restorative facial treatments by RATIONALE.  Guests can explore nearby staycation destinations like Pittwater, or venture further to the Hawkesbury or Jervis Bay for five-night (or longer) itineraries, where an expanded range of watersports and coastal adventures await.

Sea Raes bookings for the Sydney season are now open. For further information regarding events and overnight charters,  please visit searaes.com.au or contact the Guest Service Team at contact@searaes.com.au.
