This October, Halton comes alive with a thrilling mix of Halloween festivities, family-friendly workshops, live performances, and seasonal experiences for all ages. From pumpkin carving and spooky storytelling to beer festivals and live music, there's something for everyone in the borough this autumn.

  • Hale Beer Festival – Saturday 11th October, Hale Village Hall, 3–9pm. Enjoy a wide selection of ales, lagers, and ciders alongside delicious food. £5 entry (+18, souvenir glass included).

    • Norton Priory: Meditation mornings, Poe-inspired evenings, family Halloween events, and spooky storytelling on 31st October.
    • The Catalyst Science Discovery Centre and Museum: Interactive science shows, potion-making, and ancient remedy workshops.
    • The Brindley Theatre: Live concerts and performances including Pet Shop Boys tribute shows, punk legend John Lydon, and theatrical productions for all ages.
  • Sports & Markets:
    • Cheer on Runcorn Linnets FC and Widnes Wild Ice Hockey teams this October.
    • Explore vibrant Widnes Market, car boot sales, and weekly community activities at Halton Libraries.
