Highland Coast Hotels is offering its four-legged guests and their owners a new menu of dog-friendly experiences to enjoy together in the far north of Scotland with the launch of its 'Doggie Digs' breaks.

The Scottish-based hotel group has teamed up with the region's top dog-friendly activity providers to offer everything from paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking with The Sutherland Adventure Company; boat trips with Northwest Sea Tours, Summer Isles Cruises; and wildlife spotting with Calum's Seal Trips.

The team of 'Doggie Digs' helpers at Highland Coast Hotels are also armed with a choice of more gentle local walks along beaches, rivers and lochs from the doorstep of each venue, including the grounds of Dunrobin Castle, Cawdor Castle and Eilean Donan Castle; nature trails at Castle Varrich and Strathnaver; Attadale Gardens by train from Plockton; Golspie Burn Waterfall and Gorge; as well as a search for the Loch Ness Monster.

Highland Coast Hotels is also working with local pet company 'Highland Paws' to welcome four-legged guests to the region with a special pack filled with sustainable dog biscuits; a toy crafted from recycled materials found on beaches, dog shampoo and biodegradable doggie bags.

Extra creature comforts for furry friends at Highlands Coast Hotels include a courtesy dog bowl, towel and a blanket or bed for the duration of their stay.

Dogs are welcome at each of Highland Coast Hotels' seven landmark venues around the world-famous North Coast 500 and wider North Highlands region, including Lochardil House in Inverness; Royal Marine Hotel in Brora; Royal Golf Hotel in Dornoch; Tongue Hotel, Kylesku Hotel, Newton Lodge and Plockton Inn in Wester Ross.

Prices for dog-friendly stay with Highland Coast Hotels start from just £99 per room, per night, inclusive of breakfast per person and based on two people sharing a standard double guestroom at any Highland Coast Hotels venue.  Valid from 1st November 2025 to 31st March 2026.

There is a supplement of £20 per dog, per night (up to a maximum of £80 per stay).

Dogs are also welcome to join their owners for lunch or dinner in the bar areas at each of Highland Coast Hotels' seven venues.
