JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 5, 2025) – Point Taken Communications, a public relations firm serving hospitality brands nationally, welcomes Lauren Rautenkranz as a PR Account Director. Rautenkranz works on resort, hotel, spa, and restaurant clients.
Rautenkranz comes to Point Taken Communications from television news, where she spent 15 years as an on-air meteorologist. Her career spans from Wilmington, N.C., to Jacksonville, Fla.
Lauren's background in journalism aligns well with the Point Taken team, many of whom are former reporters," said Michelle Guglielmo Gilliam, president of Point Taken Communications. “Lauren will leverage her deep knowledge of what's newsworthy in 2025 and her social media expertise to help our clients with their PR and marketing strategies.”
Rautenkranz joined the Point Taken Communications team earlier this year. In addition to developing innovative campaign ideas, she manages social media, media relations, and influencer relations, as well as influencer vetting. She will also work on AI strategies for public relations.
