GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (September 3, 2025) – The 39th Annual GrapeFest® – A Texas Wine Experience presented by Bank of the West takes over Grapevine's Historic Main Street September 11, 12, 13 & 14 with a fresh blend of tradition and discovery. Recently named one of the Top 10 Wine Festivals in the United States by USA TODAY readers, GrapeFest continues to spotlight Texas wines while introducing international flavors and experiences. Enjoy globally inspired tasting experiences, master classes and new opportunities to sip, learn and explore.

TASTE YOUR WAY AROUND THE WORLD

Explore wines from around the globe at the International Wine Experience sponsored by Gaylord Texan Resort. Taste wines from Barossa, South Australia; Krems, Austria, Parras de la Fuente, Mexico and various regions in Canada.

New this year – two tasting card options to suit your preference and appetite.

  • 4 one-ounce tastings: $16 in advance, $20 at the festival
  • 6 one-ounce tastings: $24 in advance, $28 at the festival

There is also the exclusive VIP Gaylord Texan Lounge – access includes 6 one-ounce tastings plus one four-ounce glass of an exclusive wine available only in the VIP lounge. $38 in advance, $42 at the festival. Pair your sips with a charcuterie box from Winestein's Tasting Room, available for purchase.

Just outside the International Wine Experience, guests ages 21 and up can enter to win a trip for two to Barossa Wine Country, South Australia at the Qantas booth.

DISCOVER THE ART OF WINE THROUGH GUIDED TASTINGS

Barossa, South Australia Master Class

International wine educator Mark Rashop will host the Barossa Master Classes in the Grapevine Tower Gallery featuring six wines from the Barossa Valley. This experience is ideal for wine professionals and curious sippers alike. Sommeliers are encouraged to attend. The session dates and times are Thursday, September 11 at 1 p.m. and Sunday, September 14 at 1 p.m. inside the Grapevine Tower Gallery. Tickets are $15 per person, 21+. The tastings will include the following premier wines from the Barossa:

  • Lambert Estate – 2023 A Thousand Words Chardonnay
  • Hewistson – 2019 Baby Rush Mourvedre
  • Kalleske – 2020 Clarry's GSM
  • Elderton – 2017 E. Series Shiraz/Cab
  • Pewsey Vale – 2023 Dry Riesling
  • Yalumba – Samuels Collection Shiraz

Around the World in 80 Minutes with Rieslings

Wine educator and GrapeFest Co-Chair Lisa Pacioni leads a horizontal tasting class exploring Rieslings from four continents. Discover how geography influences flavor in this educational and approachable experience. Sample 4 one-ounce tastings of Riesling wines followed by a 3-ounce pour of your favorite. Tickets are $25 per person. 21+. The seminar is at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 12.

In addition to the fabulous international wine experiences, several beverage pavilions will be located throughout the festival, offering a mix of local craft brews. You can also decide on the best Texas wines at the People's Choice Wine Tasting Classic and sip on bubbly at the reimagined Champagne Terrace.
