BALI, Indonesia, September 2, 2025 – Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali celebrated World Coconut Day with a series of curated experiences that highlighted the island's most versatile fruit. From dining and cocktails to wellness and sustainability workshops, guests were invited to immerse themselves in all things coconut in true Six Senses style.
The celebrations began with the Coco “Megibung” Feast at Rocka Restaurant, a shared-style Balinese dinner where every dish carried a tropical coconut twist, encouraging connection, togetherness, and the joy of communal dining.
At Cliff Bar, guests indulged in Sips of the Jewel, a collection of coconut-inspired cocktails and mocktails best enjoyed against the uninterrupted views of the Uluwatu cliffs and the Indian Ocean horizon.
Wellness seekers joined the Coco Scrub Workshop at Alchemy Bar of Six Senses Spa, crafting their own natural body scrub with freshly sourced coconut ingredients, a sensorial experience designed to nourish the skin and take home a piece of island glow.
The Sustainability team was also in focus with Kokedama Making, where coconut waste was transformed into creative plant designs. This mindful activity reflected the resort's commitment to reimagining waste and embracing nature's potential in playful, purposeful ways.
“It was wonderful to see our guests embrace every moment, from the joy of sharing food to creating something meaningful with their own hands”, said Coetzer Deysel, General Manager of Six Senses Uluwatu. The day's celebration embodies the resort's ethos of #SimplySixSenses that elevate simple, natural elements into unforgettable experiences.
