From 16th – 24th September, Adaaran Select Meedhupparu is set to host its first-ever Pickleball Camp with two Team England athletes. Guests staying at the beautiful Raa Atoll resort during this time, can book the Pickleball Package. Pickleball lovers of all abilities staying on the dedicated package will enjoy seven nights in a Beach Villa on a Premium All-Inclusive basis and an immersive experience into the ins and outs of Pickleball with top athletes. 

Team England and European Champion Pickleball athletes, Sam Basford and Julie Mac will be offering eight hours of coaching for guests staying on the Pickleball Package before a fun tournament at the end of the week. Sam Basford has been playing Pickleball for almost 10 years and is known for his success at running the 2021 English Nationals and 2022 English Open. In that same year, he launched SB Pickleball, a company that provides coaching, coaching education, and Pickleball events across the UK. After picking up the paddle eight years ago, Julie Mac has gone from strength to strength as a Pickleball athlete and was part of the 12-strong England Team for the inaugural European Pickleball Championships, won the 50+ Women’s Doubles at the English Nationals and was a runner-up in the mixed doubles.
