Coral Expeditions Announces 2027 Kimberley Cruise Season with 47 Departures

Australia's pioneering small ship expedition cruise line Coral Expeditions has announced the release of its 2027 Kimberley sailing season, featuring 47 departures across its fleet of three purpose-built expedition vessels, Coral DiscovererCoral Adventurer, and Coral Geographer.

Voyages will run from March to September, offering a chance for travellers to experience one of the world's most extraordinary natural frontiers in an intimate and relaxed small group setting. The 2027 program confirmed Coral Expeditions' position as the largest and longest operating cruise specialist in the Kimberley, enjoying its fourth decade of continuous discovery in the region.

Guests can choose from a diverse program, including the line's classic ten-night Kimberley Cruise running between Darwin and Broome, and a refreshed Coral Frontiers and Kimberley Icons, also sailing over ten nights.

In 2027, Coral Expeditions will celebrate 32 years of exploring the Kimberley's wild and ancient landscapes. Guests will journey to the mighty King George River and its towering twin falls, discover ancient rock art with expert guides, and witness the remarkable spectacle of the iconic reef, where cascading waters reveal an abundance of marine life. Later in the season, travellers may also encounter majestic humpback whales on their migration north to breeding grounds.

This voyage combines the highlights of our classic Kimberley itinerary with rare visits to the pristine Rowley Shoals Marine Park, Ashmore Reef, and Scott Reef.
