A New Digital Space for Independent Thinking

To celebrate the Virtuoso Travel Show 2025 in Las Vegas, we open our inspiring, evergreen narratives across

travel, design, culture, food, wellbeing and interiors, and continue the thinking around meaningful experiences.

 

London, UK – August 7th 2025: BspokeMIND opens its digital doors, launching an immersive platform dedicated to personal and purposeful storytelling. Rooted in a distinctive narrative style, the site explores life stories, hidden travels, unexpected culture, disruptive finds, diverse culinary creations, interior aesthetics, and the pursuit of a considerate way of living.

The launch of MIND is timed with the opening of the Virtuoso Travel Show in August 2025, in celebration of all the luxury buyers who shape a new era of travel - one that reflects the BspokeMIND philosophy: thoughtful, meaningful, and deeply personal.

Aside from the storytelling, MIND's unique experiences will go beyond what algorithms suggest or what's instantly bookable online. “The luxury travel world is evolving. Today' s guests seek narratives that align with their personal values and aspirations. A room with a view is no longer enough—even in the social media age,” says Biancalucia Perna, publisher of MIND. “Behind this shift are travel curators - visionaries who craft journeys as a seamless blend of emotion, culture, and experience.” On the calendar will be trips for art and culture and first hand workshops in Nairobi & Lamu, hidden Marrakech from the Atlas mountains to the Medina with a fashionable twist, and a longer jaunt to Japan to spend time with the exceptional AMA pearl divers, foodies & photographers - want to know more?

Ros Milani Gallieni, who curates the experiences & escapes behind I Need Some, alongside the and the content ideas, adds that this all-new platform is designed to offer a momentary escape into a different space of MIND. “The content that comes in never ceases to stretch my curiosity and allows us all to learn how much we CAN contribute to one another: both for ourselves and our audience. For years, the MIND team has designed bespoke itineraries behind the scenes, weaving in the subtle, often invisible details that make a trip unforgettable. More than once, we've been asked: Can these experiences be booked? Now, the answer is yes.

MIND: The content of the platform is a collection of independent pieces, written or spoken by a trusted network of contributors and will be published as a monthly collection of evergreen and diverse articles. Each piece is presented as an intimate narrative, inviting readers into the minds of creative thinkers, writers and cultural pioneers. Amongst our launch contributors we are thankful to count Andrew Nelson, Aya Aroukatos, Carlo Ducci, Erica Firpo, Jo Foley, Lisa Young, Natahsa Nyamin, Nicky Swallow, Sara Magro, Teresa Levonian Cole, Carlo Ducci, Sarah Grant, Vincent Zhuang, Maria Pellicer and more to come.

Sara Magro, Project Director, explains the foundations: “At the core of the site lies a clear mission: to inspire and encourage reflection through travel and encounters, with a disruptive viewpoint, while also celebrating the beauty of cultures worldwide and alternative lifestyles: essentials in our fast-moving world.”  

This curated community also spans original personas from the creative world, global voyagers, new and long-time friends, hotel owners and their exceptional teams, collectors, media, photographers, opinion leaders, digital nomads, food lovers, wellness experts, and more; all united by a shared passion for embracing life's best moments and finds. As Carlo Ducci, co-founder and mentor behind the platform, explains: “We want everyone to use their minds differently, to go into seeing things with a new take and share a different perspective, through a creative vision and considerate partnerships.”

Rooted in visual storytelling, BspokeMIND was born out of a creative journey that began in 2020 and has evolved into a collaborative space of ideas.

Sara Magro: Project Director. Since 1998, Sara has been specialising in travel and lifestyle. After 10+ years at Condé Nast Traveller Italy, she has become a regular contributor at Condé Nast Italia (writing features for both Traveller Italia and La Cucina Italiana) and Il Sole 24 Ore, the most important Italian financial newspaper. She is also the founder of The Italy Insider, a magazine focused on travel news, dedicated to the art of conscious, sustainable, and mindful travel in Italy.

Ros Milani Gallieni: Executive Editor. A seasoned force in luxury communications, brings a career shaped by deep immersion in fashion, couture, high-performance cars, and immersive travel. With years of prestigious training under iconic industry figures, her expertise lies in crafting subtle yet powerful narratives that leave a lasting impression—stories that resonate as experiences, not just moments. The answer to 'Can I come with you too?” is now finally a Yes. Intimate, culturally immersive journeys and creative, hands-on workshops in Nairobi and Lamu, alongside insider explorations of a hidden Marrakech, are all crafted with the same precision, perspective, and passion that have guided us from the start.

Carlo Ducci: Visionary Mentor, Tuscan by birth, London-educated and long-time resident of Milan, Carlo Ducci studied law before choosing the written word. For over thirty years, he authored and directed features across the Vogue Italia universe, working in line with Franca Sozzani's distinctive vision. Today, he divides his time between cultural and editorial consultancy and the care of the Accademia de La Felicina—the Tuscan salon he founded within his family's historic hotel, a space devoted to ideas, dialogue and projects where life and thought intertwine. He cherishes art, engines, and meaningful conversations and started the journey of MIND with Bianca as a mentor and visionary partner in the project.

Biancalucia Perna: Publisher. With over 30 years of international travel and discoveries, Bianca has always led the way in developing innovative international marketing and communication campaigns, which she has tailored and created for her roster of clients. Seeing multiple opportunities in her media relations to publish features which may not have made the final cut, she began to think what a platform would be like to 'house' these tales, which are thought-provoking, independent and diverse; at times shocking and unsettling.

What has always intrigued everyone here is the storytelling beneath the surface—the quiet precision behind the gloss of perfection. This curiosity is what drew everyone into BspokeMIND: a space designed to challenge conventional narratives and invite voices that see beyond the polished exterior, to provoke new ways of thinking. All together, we hope this becomes a place where anyone who is inspired to journey off the expected path, will come to find the unexpected and the extraordinary.
