GRAPEVINE, TEXAS (July 21, 2025) – Main Street America has once again named Grapevine's Historic Main Street a nationally Accredited Main Street program. This top-tier recognition is awarded to programs that demonstrate exceptional commitment to preservation-based economic development and community revitalization.

Grapevine joins more than one thousand programs across the country that earned Main Street America designation this year. Of the 1,172 recognized, 821 received Accredited status.

“Main Street America is proud to recognize this year's 1,172 designated Main Street programs for their commitment to building strong and vibrant communities,” said Erin Barnes, President and CEO of Main Street America. “Their tireless efforts show what's possible when engaged leaders work together to shape places that reflect the people they serve. The continued impact of our network shows that the Main Street movement remains a powerful force for positive transformation.”

Main Street America's success is powered by a collaborative spirit, preservation-focused planning and an ongoing investment in infrastructure and local business support. In 2024, Main Street America programs, including Grapevine, generated $7.65 billion in local reinvestment, created more than 33,000 jobs and rehabilitated more than 10,000 historic buildings - a testament to the lasting economic and cultural value of the Main Street model.

To earn accredited status, Grapevine met high standards in six key areas, including inclusive leadership, sustainable operations and strategy-driven programming focused on economic vitality and historic preservation.

Known for its vintage charm, walkability and thriving business community, Grapevine's Historic Main Street is a vibrant destination featuring locally owned boutiques, winery tasting rooms, art galleries, cafés and bistros plus iconic attractions like Grapevine Vintage Railroad and the Historic Palace Theatre.
