One of the most remote and revered treks on Earth opens for a short window this October. World Expeditions is proud to confirm that the legendary Bhutan Snowman Trek will be guided by Lydia Bradey, the first woman to summit Everest without supplementary oxygen and one of the world's most accomplished high-altitude mountaineers.
Spanning 27 days, the Snowman Trek is widely considered the most challenging non-technical trek in the Himalaya. It crosses eleven high mountain passes, some reaching altitudes over 5,300 metres (17,400 feet). This October's departure offers ideal Himalayan conditions, paired with the leadership of a guide whose name is synonymous with world-firsts at altitude.
“This is one of the last true expedition-style journeys left on Earth. It demands resilience, rewards curiosity, and immerses you in landscapes and cultures few will ever witness. For those seeking raw, remote adventure, there is nothing else like the Snowman Trek,” said Nathalie Gauthier, North America Manager, World Expeditions
