Richmond Region Tourism is proud to announce that the Richmond Region has been selected to host TBEX North America 2026, one of the world's premier events for travel creators and destination marketing professionals. The conference takes place June 23-26, 2026, bringing together hundreds of bloggers, content creators, influencers and travel industry leaders from across the globe. Educational sessions will be held at the Greater Richmond Convention Center, and other events and tours will be hosted throughout the region.

TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange) has become a cornerstone of the global travel media landscape since its launch in 2009. Each conference delivers unmatched opportunities for creators and destinations to collaborate, network and learn. Attendees will experience the area's dynamic culinary scene, vibrant neighborhoods and rich history during pre- and post-event familiarization (FAM) tours and will engage in expert-led workshops, keynote presentations, and networking throughout the event.

TBEX and Richmond Region Tourism representatives revealed the Richmond Region as the 2026 host destination during the annual TBEX North America conference last month in Québec, Canada. TBEX events have taken place across North America, Europe and Asia, with previous host destinations including Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Kalamata, Greece; and Phuket, Thailand. 

The 2026 event in the Richmond Region will feature a full slate of content creation workshops, speed networking sessions and evening events designed to highlight the region's unique character and hospitality.
