Horizontal Festival

Tickets for New South Wales' most anticipated new festival, the Horizontal Festival, debuting at Centennial Vineyards in the Southern Highlands on 4–5 October 2025, will go on sale on Monday 14 July at tickemaster.com.au.

Set in the picturesque surrounds of Centennial Vineyard in Bowral, Horizontal Festival is more than just a food and wine celebration—its part concert, part degustation menu, part art show and part wine, craft beer and distillery tasting – it's a curated sensory journey. Over two unforgettable days guests will experience the very best of NSW regional produce, paired with world-class wine, beer and cocktails as well as art, design, music and culture.

The Horizontal Festival features two daily sessions, offering guests the flexibility to choose between a vibrant daytime experience or an enchanting evening atmosphere. Day sessions run from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, while evening sessions take place from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Each four-hour session is a passport to swirl, sniff, sip, savour the flavours of NSW, while soaking up the sights and sounds of a vibrant community of makers, producers and creatives.

General Admission tickets are priced at $59 per person, which includes entry to the festival area, all musical acts, wine and cheese tastings, a take home festival glass, an opportunity to browse art and design as well as meet NSW makers. For those seeking an elevated experience, Platinum packages will be released in late July, offering exclusive benefits and access.

The entry ticket grants access to the entire festival site, where attendees can experience live music, captivating art installations and complimentary wine and cheese tastings that showcase the best of New South Wales.  Once inside, festival-goers will explore a series of themed zones, each thoughtfully designed to captivate the senses. Enjoy the Sparkling Bar, a minimalist white haven with classical music, sparkling wines, oysters, high tea, and rare delicacies. Wander through The Vineyard, an Italian-inspired space featuring upbeat music, white wines, antipasto and local artisan showcases. The Rosé Room serves as the festival's masterclass hub, the barrel room offers red wine, sweet pairings round out any meal with tantalising desserts and the outside Hops Garden and Orchard is home to craft brews, distillers, potions from alchemists, an array of food trucks and the concert stage.

Guests will also have the freedom to purchase a wide array of culinary delights ranging from tasty bites like freshly shucked oysters to hearty meals offered by gourmet food trucks and local chefs. Visitors can also browse and purchase produce from local agritourism providers or choose to unwind with a craft beer or cocktail on the lawn while enjoying live performances.

Getting to the festival will be easy and convenient with onsite parking available for $30 per vehicle, or visitors can opt for the shuttle bus service from Bowral Railway Station.

Mayor Jesse Fitzpatrick, Wingecarribee Shire Council, said:

“Events like the Horizontal Festival are exactly the kind of activity we want in the Highlands. They bring people into our towns, support local jobs, and put a spotlight on the producers and creatives who make this region special. It's a smart way to grow our visitor economy and celebrate what we do best.”

Festival Creator and Founder, Amanda Fry said “Events have evolved beyond what's on stage or on the plate—people are craving unforgettable, immersive experiences that engage all the senses. I designed Horizontal Festival to put the guest at the heart of the action from the moment they enter the event. Every space offers a multi-facetted experience because I want people to walk away having been part of something fresh, new and exciting.”

“With tickets now on sale, I'm thrilled to invite everyone to be part of this unique celebration. For the price of admission, guests will enjoy access to an incredible range of tastings, performances and curated spaces—delivering exceptional value and memories that will last long after the festival ends.”

Horizontal Festival is supported proudly by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW.
