The Langham, Melbourne Launches Pingu-Themed Children's Afternoon Tea in Alto Room
These July school holidays, The Langham, Melbourne invites families to step into the whimsical world of Pingu, with an exclusive Pingu-themed Afternoon Tea. This delightful experience will run for a limited time only, from 10 to 13 July 2025, in the hotel's spectacular Alto Room, offering panoramic views and an enchanting setting perfect for a midwinter treat.
Beloved for his playful charm and snowy adventures, Pingu is the star of this carefully curated culinary experience designed especially for younger guests. Each daily session includes a creative array of sweet and savoury delights inspired by the cheeky penguin and his frosty Antarctic world.
Among the savoury offerings guests will enjoy fairy bread with raspberry butter, panko and black sesame coated meatballs and mini fish finger burgers. Some of the sweet selections include an igloo dome with coconut mousse, Pingu snowballs and blueberry cheesecake macarons and more.
Presented on The Langham's iconic tiered tea stands, the menu is as imaginative as it is delicious.
“Our goal was to craft an experience that brings joy, creativity, and flavour to life,” said Chef Thomas Rappl, Executive Chef at The Langham, Melbourne. “We've taken inspiration from Pingu's world to design a menu that's fun, visually exciting, and above all, delicious for our young guests.”
