On Saturday, June 22, Peninsula Hot Springs will come together with hot springs across the globe to celebrate the traditions of bathing for 'World Bathing Day'. The worldwide event recognises the deep cultural roots of bathing and its ability to bring people closer to nature, to each other, and to themselves. As a long-time leader in geothermal wellness and cultural bathing in Australia, Peninsula Hot Springs will mark the occasion with a full-day of immersive experiences and bathing celebrations.
Encapsulating the ethos of World Bathing Day and its focus on community and connection, Peninsula Hot Springs is collaborating with Alba Thermal Springs & Spa and Aurora Bathhouse to offer a special World Bathing Day Peninsula Pass to guests. For $150, the pass gives guests the opportunity to experience all three bathing and wellness centres across the Mornington Peninsula on Sunday June 22.
The day begins with a sunrise ceremony at the iconic Hilltop Pool, followed by hot springs yoga at the Bath House Amphitheatre. Guests can also enjoy a roving Musical performance by sound healer Dan Byrne. Live musical performances by The Calmer Miles and Pérolas will round out the evening to enhance the sensory and spiritual harmony of bathing in nature.
Marty Williams, Arts, Culture and Events Director at Peninsula Hot Springs shares “the arts play a crucial role in bringing people together, providing a timeless and boundless connection, and an opportunity to experience the transformational effects of live music and water.”
With celebrations driven by a deep desire for connection, Peninsula Hot Springs will host live performances throughout the day that honour the bonds between music and water. Audiences across the globe are invited to listen, reflect and feel part of a greater, unified experience.
This World Bathing Day, Peninsula Hot Springs invites everyone to step away from the everyday, soak in the moment, and rediscover the simple joy of coming together through water, music, and shared ritual.
