Amateur photographers and animal lovers are in for a double delight, with Australian travel company Luxury Escapes announcing its newest Signature Series tour - a 9-day Southern Africa safari hosted by highly acclaimed wildlife photographer, Jason Edwards.

Combining safari outings with expert-led learning, this one-off trip is designed for amateur photographers, wildlife lovers, and anyone with a penchant for adventure. With decades of experience behind the lens for publications such as National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, Condé Nast Traveler, and The New Yorker, Edwards will join guests on game drives through some of Africa's most iconic wilderness, sharing live, hands-on photography tips along the way.

The tour is part of Luxury Escapes' growing Signature Series, a collection of limited-edition itineraries hosted by notable personalities – from MasterChef's Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan to pro golfer Nick O'Hern – and designed around shared passions such as food, sport, and now, wildlife photography.

This marks the first time a Signature Series tour will go on safari. Guests will explore the natural habitats of the Big Five – lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos – and learn how to look at the world through a different lens and capture the moment, whether shooting with a smartphone or DSLR.

The itinerary features highlights include Kruger National Park, Victoria Falls and the wildlife-rich Chobe River Front. For those wanting to extend their trip, an optional add on visit will take them to the wildlife haven of Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana's Okavango Delta.
