DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., (June 11, 2025) – The Independence Day holiday weekend is a reason for celebration across the United States and few places offer a better backdrop for marking America's birthday than the beach. This Fourth of July weekend in Daytona Beach has a busy lineup of festive events that give visitors plenty of ways to let their red, white and blue spirit shine:

  • Daytona Tortugas baseball: Taking in America's pastime is a great way to celebrate the nation's birthday, and Jackie Robinson Ballpark is a great venue to experience in person. The St. Lucie Mets and the Daytona Tortugas will begin a three-game series at Jackie Robinson Ballpark on Friday, July 4 at 6:35 p.m. Holiday revelers can take in a great ballgame, buy some peanuts and Cracker Jacks, and maybe even enjoy a favorite cold beverage or two to cool things off. And to mark the occasion in an all-American way, fireworks will light up the skies over the ballpark after the final out. The Tortugas will also wear special patriotic-themed uniforms to mark the July 4th holiday.

  • July 4th Veterans Parade on Main Street: The City of Daytona Beach will hold a Veterans Parade on historic Main Street in Daytona Beach on July 4 at 10 a.m. The parade pays tribute to veterans and first responders and features nearly 40 local military organizations, as well as combat veterans, and the city's police and fire departments.

The parade begins on Main Street at Atlantic Avenue and travels west to the base of the Main Street Bridge. The public can view the parade from the sidewalks along Main Street.

In addition to the parade, there will be a special July 4th Veterans Ceremony beginning at 9 a.m. by the Clock Tower between the Boardwalk and the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort at 100 North Atlantic Avenue. The ceremony is presented by the MOPH Chapter 316, Military Officers Association of America, Halifax Chapter and sponsored by the City of Daytona Beach.

  • Live music at the Daytona Beach Bandshell: There will be a pair of free tribute concerts at the historic Daytona Beach Bandshell located on the North end of the Daytona Beach Boardwalk. The Alter Eagles, an Eagles tribute band, will perform a special July 4th show at 7:15 p.m. Following their performance, there will be a Fourth of July Daytona Beach fireworks show launching from the nearby Main Street Pier.

Southern Cross and Bad Moon Rising, Crosby Still Nash & Young and Creedence Clearwater Revival Tributes, take the stage on Saturday, July 5 as part of the Star Spangled Summer Concert Series, an annual free summer concert series that takes place on Saturday nights.

  • Fireworks in the Daytona Beach area: In addition to fireworks shows at the Daytona Beach Bandshell and the Daytona Tortugas game, the Daytona Beach area will host even more pyrotechnics displays throughout the community on July 4th.

The City of Ormond Beach will have its annual July 4th celebration at Rockefeller Gardens, City Hall Plaza and Fortunato Park. The celebration includes live music and food vendors with a fireworks show.  In Port Orange, a July 4th community festival will take place at City Center Park that will also include fireworks.
