A  new address in Menorca

Already familiar with the island's rhythm, Arnaud Zannier continues to expand his collection of soulful dining experiences that celebrate the
Mediterranean art of living. Nonna Beach is his latest expression — an all-day outdoor restaurant that honours Menorca's heritage, terroir, and
commitment to sustainable tourism.

“Son Saura is one of the island's most stunning beaches, cherished by locals and visitors alike” explains Zannier. “We wanted to create a
meaningful stop for those spending the day there - especially locals - offering honest, healthy cuisine where people can pause for a drink, enjoy
lunch, or pick up something to go."

A menu praising the local terroir

Nonna Beach embraces a field-to-plate philosophy, with a menu built entirely on locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant offers a simple yet refined menu, thought fully designed to suit all diets. Highlights include:
• Tapas platters as small bites (cold cut, cheeses, croquetas, patatas fritas or mezze)
• Menorcan-style spit-roast chicken with fries and salad as a main,
• Vegetarian skewers with yogurt-sesame-herb sauce as a plant-based alternative,
• Frozen yogurt made with local farm milk and customizable toppings for dessert.

Chickens are raised on the island, dairy comes from nearby farms, and the vegetables are harvested from surrounding gardens.

The perfect backdrop for memorable days

Like Nonna Bazaar, Nonna Beach sincerely embraces a multi-cultural heritage while celebrating family traditions, authentic Mediterranean food, and conviviality. Nonna Beach can be privatized for special occasions - birthdays, hen parties, and group events - with a tailored experience that brings the spirit of the Mediterranean to every moment. A group menu is available at €50 per person including drinks, ideal for casual gatherings or celebrations. In fact, an on-site curated boutique extends the experience, offering local crafts, branded
merchandise, high-quality books, accessories and beach essentials for guests to
take home a piece of Menorca.

A place rooted in Menorca's heritage

Set within a reconverted finca named Es Banyul, Nonna Beach retains the rustic charm of traditional Menorcan architecture. Inside the stone building are the kitchen, restrooms, and boutique corner, while the restaurant itself unfolds outdoors. Expect terracotta floors, weathered zellige tiles, wooden doors, and stone sinks, all softened by the patina of time.

The setting is 100% open-air, offering 80 covers that spills into the garden, a setting that blends authenticity with rustic elegance. The expansive shaded terrace extends seamlessly into the large garden, where trees provide cool, natural shade. The earthy, sun-warmed yellow stones reflect Menorca's quiet beauty, inviting guests to slow down and savour the moment. Just moments from one of the island's most stunning beaches, the restaurant invites guests to savor the Mediterranean art of living.

One vision, two destinations

Alongside the exciting opening of Nonna Beach, the reopening of Nonna Bazaar - its sister property - is also celebrated.  Nestled in the northwest of Menorca in Ciutadella, Nonna Bazaar reopened on May 23rd, promising an even more vibrant experience than before. Since its debut in June 2022, the restaurant has captivated guests with its seamless blend of Mediterranean cuisine, lively entertainment, and stunning outdoor setting.Nonna now offers distinct experiences for day and night: guests can relax by the beach at Nonna Beach during the day and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Nonna Bazaar inland in the evening.

At the helm of both Nonna Beach and Nonna Bazaar is Adrián Molina Aguilar, newly appointed General Manager. With deep experience in hospitality, Adrián brings his passion and local insight to both establishments. “It is exciting to open two of the most authentic places on the island” says Molina. “We are proud to offer something meaningful where every dish, every detail reflects the Menorcan way of life."
