SeaLink Marine & Tourism

SeaLink Marine & Tourism is proud to announce all its Queensland tourism businesses have achieved Best of Queensland Experiences status with all but one scoring a perfect 100/100 rating, and the remaining achieving an impressive 90/100. This remarkable achievement highlights the consistent excellence delivered across its diverse portfolio of ferry services, accommodation and experiences, from island adventures to reef tours and eco-stays.

The Best of Queensland Experiences program, operated by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), is one of the tourism industry's most respected recognitions. It evaluates operators annually against rigorous criteria including customer satisfaction, online reviews, secure booking capabilities, social media presence, and tourism and eco-accreditation.

This rating reassures travellers that they're choosing experiences known for outstanding service, memorable moments, and consistently high standards. For the second year in a row, nearly all SeaLink Marine & Tourism experiences in Queensland have achieved a flawless 100 percent rating:

What's New in Queensland for 2025

Building on this year's scores, SeaLink Marine & Tourism is expanding its Queensland offering with several exciting new experiences available across the state.

Whitsundays

  • Tongarra Day Sail – The adventure just got better. Now with more time at stunning Langford Island, guests can snorkel vibrant reefs, bounce along on banana boat rides, wander the beach, or simply kick back on deck with beanbags and great tunes. Fresh lunch and a sunset sail back to Airlie wrap up the perfect Whitsundays day.

K'gari (Fraser Island)

  • Illumina – This immersive light and sound experience at Kingfisher Bay Resort blends storytelling, technology, and nature to celebrate the culture, history, and biodiversity of K'gari. Launched just seven months ago, it's already a guest favourite.
  • New Resort Ranger Presentations – Eco and wildlife talks have been expanded with seasonal themes that showcase the island's fragile ecosystems. Held throughout the week, these engaging sessions offer guests a deeper connection to K'gari's unique natural world.

North Queensland

  • Orpheus Island Day Tour – Cruise in comfort aboard a modern catamaran through the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area for a day of sun, sea, and sand. Enjoy morning tea and a tropical lunch, relax on the beach, swim in crystal-clear waters, or hike to WWII ruins with views across this island paradise.

South East Queensland

  • A new Indigenous tour – Set to launch 2025 on Stradbroke Island, a new guided tour is in development. Stay tuned for more on this enriching cultural experience.
