New Luxury and Residence Projects Cement Brand's Growth Momentum in EMEA
Phoenix, Arizona – (May #, 2025) – BWH Hotels has announced a major expansion in the country of Georgia, celebrating the signing of several transformative new developments during Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025. This milestone underscores how BWH Hotels continues to invest across the EMEA region and its commitment to entering high-potential markets with elevated hospitality offerings.
Among the highlights is the signing of the Grand Life WorldHotels™ Luxury, a landmark development in Batumi, which will become the city's first-ever luxury city hotel. Developed in partnership with leading Georgian real estate company European Village LLC, Grand Life is scheduled to open in 2027 and will join the esteemed WorldHotels Luxury collection. In tandem, BWH Hotels will also introduce a WorldHotels™ Residences project in Batumi, further strengthening the brand's position in the long-stay and branded residences segment—both properties marking the debut of WorldHotels in this vibrant Black Sea resort city.
Wytze van den Berg, Vice President of International Operations, EMEA at BWH Hotels, remarked,
“We are off to a strong start in 2025 with exciting momentum across the EMEA region. One of the key highlights this quarter was our successful presence at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) Dubai, where we proudly announced the signing of two new WorldHotels properties in the dynamic and fast-growing destination of Batumi, Georgia—a brand-new market for our portfolio.”
The Batumi property announcements follow another significant signing in Kutaisi, the Best Western® Residence Panorama Red, which marks the second Best Western project in the city. With 3,500 years of history and rapid modern development, Kutaisi is fast becoming a hub for international investment and tourism. Home to Kutaisi International Airport, which serves over 1.7 million passengers annually, the market offers strong growth potential. The new project is well-positioned to capitalize on this momentum, adding value to the destination and strengthening the brand's presence in one of Georgia's most historic and evolving cities.
With 10 properties planned in Georgia, BWH is cementing its role in the country's hospitality sector, supported by its partnership with Mr. Gocha Jaiani and Capitol HPS, a key player in Georgian property development. The momentum generated at ATM Dubai, from impactful media engagements to strategic partnerships, reflects the brand's forward-thinking strategy and growing influence across the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
