Raleigh, N.C., is increasingly accessible to global visitors thanks to RDU International Airport's record-high 14 direct international flights, connecting the region to more global travel options than ever before. With the June 5 launch of Air Canada's seasonal service to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and the June 9 introduction of WestJet seasonal service to Calgary International Airport (YYC), RDU now has a record 19 total airline partners offering flights, 11 of those serving international destinations.

With two terminals boasting an average of nearly 600 daily arrivals and departures, RDU provides all the amenities of a large airport with connections to major destinations worldwide. Last year, 15.5 million travelers passed through RDU, an increase of 1 million passengers or 6.5% over 2023. This passenger traffic helps support 139,745 direct and indirect jobs at the airport.
