The LCA is both an industry-leading hotel membership and accreditation programme dedicated to elevating childcare standards within the luxury hospitality sector, as well as a free consumer-facing platform that provides a one-stop-shop for parents to find trusted hotels who build unforgettable travel experiences specifically for families. 

The Luxury Childcare Association is the first of its kind, defining a new benchmark in luxury family travel, delivering professional, safe and fun experiences for young travellers and peace of mind for their parents. The LCA aims to provide benefits to parents and hotels alike, ensuring that parents know their children are in the safest of hands, offering an easy-to-navigate platform where parents can search for certified and trusted members. Meanwhile, hotels can confidently offer best-in-class childcare services, elevating year on year thanks to the annual audit performed in-property by the LCA team. Current members that have received LCA plaques and can be booked on the website include world-renowned luxury properties, such as Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, One&Only Royal Mirage, One&Only The Palm, Atlantis The Palm, Atlantis The Royal and JA The Resort. Visitors find their favourite or browse for new suggestions by using the filter by destination, age group and travel period.

Resort and hotel members of the Luxury Childcare Association demonstrate an unmatched commitment to child-friendly experiences, from kids’ clubs to family-focused amenities. To become a member, resorts must qualify by meeting a robust criteria from the range of facilities on offer to the levels of staff, as well as commit to an annual audit and enrol their childcare teams in the Worldwide Kids' International Childcare for Leisure and Tourism programme, accredited by City & Guilds, ensuring the highest industry standards that offer the utmost assurance to parents that their children will not only be looked after, but will have fun too.

The Luxury Childcare Association sets the gold standard for childcare within luxury hospitality, with ambitions to become the Michelin Star of family travel, ensuring that resorts offer not just facilities, but provide expertly designed, developmentally appropriate and engaging experiences for children that contribute to an outstanding travel experience.
