Exciting news for all types of travellers: Let us show you what Austria has in store in the upcoming months!

Summer is in the air and the May bank holiday weekends are around the corner. It's unsurprising therefore, that travellers are once again busy planning new adventures. Arrivals in Austria increased by 3.3% in 2024 and we can't wait to welcome more Brits in the coming months. As many of our guests will tell you, Austria combines a pinch of nostalgia, a good portion of charm, an exciting blend of art, culture, first-class cuisine and impressive landscapes. Add the "Lebensgefühl", the locals' unique lifestyle and attitude, and many quickly become regulars.

In Austria, we pride ourselves in offering our guests something new every time they come visit. And this year is no exception: New hotels have opened - or are about to open - in almost every province. And new attractions are all ready for summer guests, be it the Arlberg Trail with its new more accessible options or Europe's first fully vegan high mountain trail in Styria. Mountain bikers will be delighted that the Silvretta Bike Arena Ischgl/Samnaun and Silva Trails Galtür have joined the Gravity Card network, connecting 30 bike destinations in Europe. And let's not forget the 60-year-anniversary celebrations for 'The Sound of Music'Johann Strauss' 200th birthday and the 100th anniversary of Hemingway's first visit to Montafon.

Let us inspire you with our news in the attached document – and once you are ready to hit the road in line with a commission, we will happily assist you in planning your research trip!

Happy reading and hopefully see you in Austria soon!
