Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery has designed the perfect Mother's Day High Tea menu in the elevated and elegant surrounds of Altus Rooftop, which includes a glass of Pommery Champagne, indulgent savoury and sweet treats, live stations serving caviar and blinis, a liquid nitrogen ice cream station with lavish condiments, a selection of TWG teas and a special gift for Mum.
For the special woman in your life, Chef has designed an indulgent menu of savoury items including Stracciatella mousse, basil and cucumber spheres on finger brioche; Smoked salmon mousse on charcoal bread with finger lime cream cheese; Chicken remoulade, wattle seed emulsion, bush apple gel; Victorian Black Angus pinwheel with horseradish, Quantong cream and balsamic pomegranate pearls; Chef's homemade saltbush empanadas; and Blue cheese and mushroom croquettes.
For Mums with a sweet tooth, there is a lush selection of pastries including single origin grand cru chocolate cake with hazelnut & aniseed myrtle croustillant; green apple, yuzu and ginger crémeux with pistachio dacquoise; raspberry, vanilla and white chocolate tart; and blood orange, cardamom and saffron parfait with bee pollen crumble and finger lime.
Scones are another high tea staple, and the hotel offers buttermilk scones and sweet orange with chocolate scones served with Yarra Valley clotted cream, macerated strawberry preserve and lemon curd.
