This summer Tignes is championing real mountain experiences with active holidays in mind. Discover the thrill of the newly designed bike trails, go hiking on the easy-to-follow routes equipped with handy digital guides, go on family adventures or come together with friends and share the love of the mountains.
Tignes Bike Park: New expanded trails and exceptional value
Mountain Bike riders will discover over seven kilometres of redesigned trails in the Palafour and Tovière areas, with new options for beginners, families, endurance riders, and electric mountain bike enthusiasts. Even better, queue-free lift access means easier mountain access throughout the day.
The newly revamped "Fresse Tagada" stands out as an iconic red trail, designed as a "flow trail" to help mountain bikers build confidence and progress their skills. Another highlight is a completely redesigned trail that accommodates riders of all abilities and can be ridden in any direction.
From 28 June to 31 August the Tignes-Val d'Isère bike park will welcome riders to an impressive 230 km of trails catering to all ability levels. With day passes priced at just €20, included in the MyTignes card, the bike park provides exceptional value in terms of trail length versus euros spent.
Hiking: Explore at your own pace
Embracing the growing "slow travel" trend, Tignes offers contemplative walking experiences that engage all the senses. With hiking continuing to attract people of all ages, the resort has enhanced its digital support to make trail navigation simpler than ever.
The official Tignes app and the complementary Grincat web app now feature almost 50 different walking routes with detailed maps and information. Hikers can easily find trails at various levels of ability, quickly locate starting points from their accommodation, and access practical information throughout the hike.
Beyond trail guidance, the Grincat app serves as an all-in-one resort companion, providing real-time information on shuttle bus schedules, restaurants, shops, activities, and points of interest across Tignes.
