NEW DINING EXPERIENCES: NIKO AL FRESCO AND SONROJO

This season, Mondrian Ibiza will welcome two distinctive dining concepts, elevating its impressive gastronomic offering and establishing Cala Llonga as one of the island's most exciting dining destinations.

Niko Al Fresco is a new evolution of the eponymous contemporary Japanese restaurant, where premium ingredients, exceptional presentation, and a sophisticated ambience come together with unparalleled waterfront views. Located on the Sun & Moon terrace, the space transforms from sun-drenched serenity to an atmospheric evening hotspot, hosting special events and offering Niko Al Fresco's menu from Wednesday to Sunday. The menu showcases an elegant interpretation of traditional Japanese flavours, crafted using regional, seasonal ingredients. Highlights include Soft-Shell Crab Bao featuring tempura crab, homemade pickles, yellow chilli sauce, and shiso leaf, and the Miso Glazed Black Cod.

Another exciting addition is Sonrojo, a tranquil beachfront venue offering a relaxed Mediterranean vibe along the captivating Cala Llonga coastline. Open for both lunch and dinner, it's the perfect spot to enjoy ice-cold beers and Sangria paired with flavourful Spanish dishes such as paella, freshly grilled fish, and light salads. Focused on locally sourced (Km0) ingredients, Sonrojo offers a dining experience that perfectly complements sun-washed, salt-sprayed beach days.

ROOMS

All 154 guest rooms at Mondrian Ibiza feature private balconies, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the stunning panoramas. Whether choosing a Deluxe King, Studio Suite, or the Presidential Suite, each room is designed to reflect an innovative interpretation of the local landscape, where raw materials are reimagined in new forms, with curated details that create dream-like spaces. ART AND DESIGN

Beades Architects and Cuarto Interior have created an aesthetic that is inspired both by the exceptional topography of the island and the brand's distinctive design signatures. Guests are welcomed with an immersive entrance informed by overblown proportions, sculptural furniture and pops of colour, designed to inspire interest and spark imagination. Oversized windows blur the lines between inside and out, imbuing the space with a sense of serenity. Artwork has been curated by London-based collective Gone Rogue to capture the creative spirit and spiritual essence of Ibiza, with pieces such as 'ASH' by Corine van Voorbergen and 'Kissing of the Sun and the Moon' by Lauren Baker.

ACTIVITIES

Guests have access to a state-of-the-art, 24-hour gym equipped with the latest Technogym machines, and a diverse wellness and fitness concept includes activities such as guided hiking tours with Balearic Outdoor Adventures, as well as waterfront yoga and snorkeling.
