Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery invites you to step down the rabbit hole and indulge in an imaginative Mad Hatter's High Tea experience, set against the magical surrounds of Altus Rooftop bar. This topsy turvy high tea will immerse guests in a world of fun, fancy, and, of course, delicious indulgence.
From 4th – 20th April, the stylish boutique hotel is bringing the magic of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland to life. Inspired by the famous Mad Hatter's tea party, this whimsical high tea invites you to delight in both sweet and savoury creations that reflect the fantastical nature of Wonderland.
Feast on Wonderland-Inspired Delights
The Mad Hatter's High Tea menu features a variety of delightful surprises that the Queen of Hearts would approve of. Savoury bites include the Lilydale chicken with smoked apple gel and buttermilk brioche; Beetroot-cured salmon with Beechworth honey cream cheese; and Slow-Cooked Beef Brisket Pie.
Those with a sweet tooth will lose their heads for the Mad Hatter Gianduja Cremieux, a decadent chocolate pyramid cake; a salted caramel, Pistachio, and passionfruit Bombe; and White Rabbit sablé biscuit with bubblegum marshmallow and salted caramel offering a melt-in-your-mouth moment of madness. Of course, no high tea is complete without delicious scones and Hotel Chadstone serves both buttermilk, and sweet orange and white chocolate scones with strawberry preserve, lemon curd, and vanilla Chantilly cream. A brewed forest berries potion with berry pearls will add a magical touch to the occasion and leave you smiling wider than a Chesire cat.

The Mad Hatter's High Tea is available on weekdays and weekends during the school holidays, so there's plenty of opportunity to dive into the fun, with multiple seatings each day.
