To honour this historic milestone, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney invites guests to indulge in a bespoke Heritage Afternoon Tea and a Heritage Stay package, offering an elegant retreat infused with history, gastronomy, and timeless hospitality.

“Our culinary team has meticulously crafted a menu that reflects the grandeur of the Victorian era while offering guests a refined and memorable dining experience.”
Inspired by 19th-century high society traditions, this curated menu brings together British and Australian flavours with a contemporary twist, set in the grandeur of Sydney's historic GPO building. The Heritage Afternoon Tea at The Bar includes a range of sweet and savoury delights such as Neapolitan Ice Cream Verrine, Malted Milk Envelope, Bakewell Pudding, Apple Charlotte Traditional Pinwheels, Cucumber Sandwiches, Potted Shrimps, Egg and Smoked Salmon, and Fullerton Scones with clotted cream and mixed berry jam.

Immerse yourself on a journey back in time with the Heritage Stay Package, an exclusive overnight retreat that celebrates the heritage and history of the GPO. Starting from A$550 per night, the Heritage Stay Package includes a one-night stay in a Heritage Wing room, buffet breakfast for two at The Place Restaurant, Heritage Afternoon Tea for two at The Bar, two Post Masters Break cocktails (a bespoke creation inspired by the GPO's history), an exclusive welcome amenity featuring a postcard-designed cake, and a guided heritage tour (available from Tuesday to Saturday only), which offers fascinating insight into the rich history of the GPO building. “Our Heritage Stay Package is more than just a stay; it's an experience,” says O'Shea. “We invite guests to connect with history and savour the elegance of a past era.”
