QT Melbourne are redefining guest experiences with the introduction of its first-ever Wellbeing Dog-cierge, Russell. In partnership with Guide Dogs Victoria, the 20-month-old Blonde Labrador Retriever is ready to deliver joy, comfort, and companionship to those who walk through the hotel's iconic copper doors.

This golden boy officially takes up residence at QT Melbourne on 27 February 2025. Affectionately named after his new home at 133 Russell Street, his arrival marks a heartwarming addition to the hotel's signature quirk and character.

Born on 30 March 2023, Russell has received extensive training with Guide Dogs Victoria to assist individuals with low vision or blindness. However, his affectionate nature and playful spirit made him an ideal candidate for a wellbeing role rather than a traditional guide dog. Now, he's found his perfect home at QT Melbourne, where he'll greet guests, lead morning walks, and spread wellness through his irresistible charm.

To celebrate Russell's arrival and support Guide Dogs Victoria, QT Melbourne is launching a series of pup-friendly experiences, with proceeds benefiting the charity:

Pups & Poses on Rooftop at QT – QT Melbourne, in partnership with Soflo Studios, presents Pups & Poses on Rooftop at QT - where yen yoga meets puppy love. Flow through a relaxing rooftop yoga session while Guide Dogs Victoria's puppies-in-training scamper, snooze, and smother you with love. Classes run monthly and are subject to puppy availability. Limited run of ticket drops will be available exclusively via QT Melbourne's Instagram Story.

Deli QT Menu Goes Dog-Friendly – Your morning coffee run just got a tail-wagging upgrade - because now, it's treats all around. QT Melbourne's lobby-side sandwich bar, Deli QT, is serving up puppacinos alongside its signature Italian panini & pastries. Open Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 3:00pm.
