With April showers on the horizon, Shoreditch-based hotel nhow London (https://www.nhow-hotels.com/en/nhow-london) has partnered with eco-friendly umbrella provider Dripdrop to offer guests an eco-conscious and practical way to stay dry during rainy days in the capital.
Guests can now hire an umbrella for £3 for 48 hours (or purchase one for £20). For each umbrella rented, Dripdrop will plant a tree in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects, supporting their goal of planting 1,000,000 trees in Mozambique. In January, guests at nhow London rented 62 umbrellas, contributing 62 trees to the total of 35,947 planted by Dripdrop that month.
Dripdrop´s umbrella fabric is made from recycled plastic bottles and food packaging and nhow London's umbrellas have been designed to reflect the hotel's London-reloaded concept, perfectly complementing its bold and vibrant aesthetic.
In addition to the umbrellas, the hotel also offers free foldaway bikes for guests to explore the capital sustainably. Local highlights include the Victoria Miro Art Gallery, the Museum of Modern Art, Canal Basin, the Box Park pop-up mall, and Spitalfields' diverse indoor market.
