Drukair Invites Proposals for General Sales Agent in Australia

Paro, Bhutan – Drukair Corporation Limited, the national flag carrier of Bhutan, has announced a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the appointment of a Passenger General Sales Agent (GSA) in Australia. This strategic move aims to strengthen Drukair's presence in the Australian market, enhancing accessibility and sales for the airline.

Drukair, owned by Druk Holding and Investments Limited, currently operates a fleet of eight aircraft, serving three domestic and eleven international destinations, including key hubs in India, Thailand, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates. The appointed GSA will be responsible for representing Drukair in Australia, managing sales, executing marketing initiatives, and expanding the airline's footprint in the region.

Interested agencies with at least three years of experience in air travel sales are encouraged to submit their proposals. The initial contract will be for three years, with specific requirements outlined in the RFP, including financial stability, market expertise, and strategic sales planning.

Proposals must be submitted by February 28, 2025
