Through an exclusive collaboration with French furniture-design house Roche Bobois, The Peninsula Paris has established two spectacular winter sanctuaries for guests on its high rooftop terraces. These dreamy igloo-style domes, both of which have been furnished by Roche Bobois, offer plush, romantic alcoves for guests to enjoy fine dining and drinks, while taking in the twinkling lights of the Paris cityscape.
The first oasis is delicately positioned at the hotel's highest point – on the intimate private terrace known as the Secret Table. This winter greenhouse for two, adorned with exquisite French craftsmanship and illuminated by a warm, soft glowing light, offers a singularly magical spot for a marriage proposal, idyllic aperitif, or bespoke anniversary dinner created by award- winning Chef David Bizet.
An even more rarefied escape can be found at The Peninsula Paris's second oasis. Located on the private terrace of the hotel's opulent Eiffel Suite, this cosy cocoon with its majestic view of the Eiffel Tower can be used as a round-the-clock private lounge for guests of the suite. Amid invitingly soft Roche Bobois' sofas adorned with colourful cushions and throws, guests can choose to gaze out at the Parisian winter while enjoying breakfast, Afternoon Tea, or a superb dinner under the stars.
A glittering glass dome, beautifully decorated by Tartine et Chocolat, is suspended on the terrace of The Peninsula Paris's Rooftop Garden Suite. A warm and inviting space for young guests to visit with their families, the enchanting igloo-shaped space is filled with games and books, and hosts regular creative workshops for kids. Parents, in the meantime, can relax and enjoy the truly dazzling panoramic views over the city.
Until April 15, 2025, the two elegant oases will remain perched on the roof terraces of The Peninsula Paris, providing peerlessly romantic and elegant retreats for sharing special moments.
