Coral Expeditions, Australia’s first choice for small ship expedition cruising, announces the 2026 season with an expanded line up of adventures at sea for the summer of 2026. Several new cruises and a refreshed schedule will celebrate the company’s 10th year of expedition cruising onboard the yacht-like vessel, Coral Discoverer, in Tasmania’s wild and pristine coast.

Sydney to Hobart: A Yachting Tradition – 7 night departs Sydney 26th December 2025 

Experience the great Yachting tradition of Australia’s Sydney to Hobart as you join the fleet from the spectacle of the fleet setting sail through the Sydney Harbour heads through to the New Year celebrations at the Constellation docks in Hobart. Enjoy experts onboard as they share their insights and tales and encounter the majestic and powerful coastlines that set the stage of this iconic nautical event.

Wild Escape Tasmania – 4 night departs Hobart 2nd January 2026 

Combine the best of Tasmania on this active new adventure voyage designed for a new generation of explorers. Kick start the new year with nature and luxury as you enjoy freedom to explore with natural encounters ashore in Maria Island, the Freycinet and Bruny Island. Enjoy morning walks and witness rare wildlife, sea kayak through the tranquil hidden bays and indulge with food and wine experiences that celebrate the tastes of Tasmania.

Scenic Walks of Tasmania – 7 night departs Hobart 6th January 2026 

Step ashore in some of Tasmania’s most remote and iconic National Parks and wilderness regions to enjoy world class nature hikes. This voyage is for active explorers who love immersing themselves in the outdoors and enjoy health and fitness. Encounter unique flora and fauna and the magnificent coastal vistas of Tasmania and the powerful ocean surrounds as we take in the epic walks and sweeping views at Cape Huay, Bruny Island, Maria Island and summit Mt Beattie in the Bathurst Harbour world heritage area. Relax and recharge back onboard as you enjoy in the tastes of Tasmania and social engagement with like-minded explorers.

Circumnavigation of Tasmania – 14 night departs Hobart 13th January and 26th February 2026 

Explore the entirety of the majestic Tasmanian coastline and its offshore islands on our popular Tasmanian circumnavigation series. Now offered on 2 dates over a shortened 14-night itinerary, immerse yourself into the nature, heritage, communities and tastes of Tasmania. Discover the pristine national parks of Wineglass Bay and Strezlecki Park on remote Flinders Island in the Bass Strait. Soak up the rich heritage of our island state as you explore Launceston, historic Port Arthur and the Maria Island settlement. Enjoy an overnight stay deep within Port Davey and the Bathurst Harbour World Heritage area. Tasmanian Coastal Discovery – 10 nights departs Hobart 27th January 6th and 16th February  

Our celebrated 10-night Tasmanian itinerary operates over three departure dates each summer. Discover the pristine beauty of the Eastern coastline as we explore Bruny Island and Adventure Bay, Wineglass Bay and the Freycinet peninsular and the offshore outpost of Maria and Schouten Islands where we step ashore in nature and enjoy immersive natural encounters and learn about the ancient and colonial history of Tasmania. Sail amongst pods of dolphins and admire the soaring granite cliffs and isolated lighthouses of the Tasman Peninsular.
