Guests will be able to savor these authentic Chinese comfort foods crafted with the finest locally sourced ingredients.

In addition to the breakfast offerings, Conrad Bali will host a Chinese New Year Dinner on January 28, 2025, at SUKU Restaurant. The dinner will be an immersive celebration priced at IDR 892,000++ per person and include non-alcoholic beverages. Guests can revel in a grand evening with cultural lion dance performances and a delectable array of traditional Chinese dishes designed to delight the whole family. As we welcome the Year of the Wood Snake, this festive dinner will embrace the joy, transformation, and resilience that the new year symbolizes.

A Story of Authenticity and Passion

Fu Shou, founded by Dwi Perkasa, is a testament to the power of passion and perseverance. Dwi, a Chinese native from Jakarta, sought to fill the gap in Bali's noodle scene, which Bakmi Solo and Bakmi Jogja dominated. In 2018, Fu Shou's first branch in Ubud introduced the island to authentic Chinese Bakmie Karet, a beloved noodle dish from his childhood. The success of the restaurant led to the opening of a second branch in Dewi Sri in 2022.

The name Fu Shou comes from the “Three Gods” of Chinese culture, symbolizing fortune, prosperity, and longevity—values that are reflected in the brand's mission. Fu Shou's philosophy is rooted in authenticity, and every dish is made using handmade, fresh ingredients without preservatives, with a focus on locally sourced produce and free-range chicken. Fu Shou's commitment to sustainability is another point of alignment with Conrad Bali's own values. Both brands emphasize responsible food waste management, maximizing the use of every ingredient to create delicious meals with minimal environmental impact.

Conrad Bali's Chinese New Year celebrations will offer guests a unique opportunity to experience traditional Chinese dishes, crafted with love and authenticity. From savoring the flavors of Fu Shou at the buffet breakfast to indulging in the exclusive Chinese New Year dinner, each experience is thoughtfully crafted to honor the vibrant traditions of the season.

“We are thrilled to continue our tradition of celebrating Chinese New Year with incredible local collaborations,” says Nicole Gasko, Director of Food & Beverages at Conrad Bali. “Fu Shou's commitment to authenticity, quality ingredients, and culinary craftsmanship aligns perfectly with our values, and we are excited to bring their delicious offerings to our guests this festive season.”
