Easter 2025 at Guardswell Farm

Guardswell Farm

JAN 2025 - Guardswell Farm in Perthshire, Scotland will be hosting its Easter family weekend retreat from Friday 18th April to Monday 21st April, 2025.

Hosted by the Lamotte family - Anna, Digby and Aster, plus Tessa and the rest of them, will lead a fun-filled weekend stay on the farm full of donkey walks, stargazing, a hilltop campfire and spring wreath making, as well as a whole host of additional Easter activities from Easter egg hunts to egg decorating. All of which will take place on their beautiful 180 acre farm in picturesque Perthshire. An idyllic place where lambs roam free while guests bathe under birdsong.

With family at its heart, Guardswell is naturally a brilliant place to bring children, fully encouraging parents to "free-range" them as much as possible. It's the perfect place for little explorers with vast open spaces to run around, nature treasure hunts, animal tours and feeding, but imaginations can really run wild with den building, butterfly spotting and playing on the old boat used as a bothy for picnics.

Across the weekend, little ones will be filling their lungs with the freshest air in the day, learning lots on daily farm tours, enjoying family yoga and feeding the animals, whilst evenings will be spent telling stories around the bonfire or at family film night in the Granary. For adults, Guardswell provides that much needed respite. An off-grid haven that offers a chance to reconnect with nature and each other.

''To us, as kids, the Easter holidays meant life emerging on the farm - it was a time for bouncing lambs in fields, daffodils happily bobbing in the breeze, the trees and plants waking up and spending time with our aunties, uncles and cousins. It was a really special time and we want to create the same memories and share that Easter excitement with our guests.'' Anna Lamotte, Owner of Guardswell Farm.

Guardswell Farm is situated on a south facing hillside, between Abernyte and Kinnaird, Perthshire with  panoramic views extending from North of Dundee, along the River Tay, over to the North of Fife, down to the Carse of Gowrie and all the way along to Glencarse. The Farm is smack bang in the middle of Scotland - within 1.5hours of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen. There are six peaceful properties to choose from, from an off-grid hut high on the hill to a five-bedroom modern country farmhouse, each possessing its own unique character, mesmerising views and deep connection to nature.
