STUART, Fla. (January 6, 2025) – In a world increasingly driven by algorithms and artificial intelligence, the Martin County Office of Tourism & Marketing is taking a playful stand with the launch of its new campaign, AI Means More Here. It marks the tourism industry's first “anti-AI” marketing campaign.

While the world embraces the rise of AI, this new campaign celebrates the authentic, human-powered experiences that define this unspoiled Florida destination, inviting visitors to disconnect from the digital realm and reconnect with the real.

Instead of “artificial intelligence,” the cheeky campaign highlights all the other aspects “AI” can represent during a Martin County vacation, including “Active Immersions,” “Aquatic Itineraries,” “Artisanal Interests,” “Appetizing Indulgences,” “Alluring Invitations,” “Amazing Islands,” “Artistic Inspiration,” “Accessibility Inclusion,” “Angler Instincts,” and so much more.

The multifaceted campaign features a mix of print and digital creative, branded videos, custom blog posts, social media content, and a dedicated campaign landing page where visitors can learn more and find insider tips from real-life “Authentic Insiders”—not some chatbot or large language model. The campaign also acknowledges the caution, skepticism, and even distrust still surrounding artificial intelligence in the tourism industry and beyond.

“Martin County has long been a place where people come to escape the noise, slow down, and savor the simple joys of life,” said Nerissa Okiye, Martin County Tourism Director. “With this campaign, we're reminding visitors that some of the most meaningful and memorable experiences come not from a screen, but from the connections we make with nature, culture, and each other.”

The campaign is a celebration of the unspoiled landscapes, unforgettable experiences, and “Authentic Interactions” that make Martin County such a special place to visit, encouraging people to embrace the real world and discover beauty that doesn't need digital enhancement.

“From uncrowded beaches and winding nature trails to charming downtowns and family-owned restaurants, Martin County has always been a haven for those seeking genuine experiences,” said Ian Centrone, Deputy Tourism Director. “Our latest campaign emphasizes that the best moments in life can't be generated by a machine, algorithm, or virtual reality headset—they're created by immersing yourself in the world around you.”
